ประกาศออกมาแล้วสำหรับรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงรางวัลออสการ์ หรือ อคาเดมี่ อวอร์ดส์ (Academy Awards) ครั้งที่ 96 ประจำปี 2024 โดยปีนี้ภาพยนตร์ Oppenheimer ได้เข้าชิงสูงสุดถึง 13 รางวัล ตามมาด้วย Poor Things ที่ 11 รางวัล ต่อด้วย Killers of the Flower Moon ที่ 10 รางวัล และ Barbie ที่ 8 รางวัล ซึ่งภาพยนตร์ทั้ง 4 เรื่องดังกล่าวได้ลุ้นชิงรางวัลภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยม ร่วมกับ American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers, Maestro, Past Lives และ The Zone of Interest ด้วย

สำหรับงานประกาศผลรางวัลจะมีขึ้นในวันที่ 10 มีนาคม 2024 โดยมี จิมมี่ คิมเมล (Jimmy Kimmel) กลับมารับหน้าที่พิธีกรเป็นครั้งที่ 4 หลังจากเคยได้รับมอบหมายให้ทำหน้านี้มาแล้วเมื่อปี 2017, 2018 และ 2023
