เมื่อวันที่ 16 มีนาคมที่ผ่านมา Paramount Pictures เผยจะส่ง Captive ลงสู่จอยักษ์วันที่ 18 กันยายนนี้ตามเวลาในสหรัฐอเมริกา นำแสดงโดย David Oyelowo (Selma) และ Kate Mara (Fantastic Four, House of Cards) กำกับการแสดงโดย Jerry Jameson ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ดัดแปลงมาจากหนังสือของ Ashley Smith และ Stacy Mattingly เรื่อง Unlikely Angel: The Untold Story of the Atlanta Hostage Hero เขียนบทภาพยนตร์โดย Brian Bird

David Oyelowo ได้พูดถึง Captive ว่า “ผมตัดสินใจเล่นหนังเรื่องนี้เพราะผมชอบเนื้อเรื่องที่แสดงให้เห็นว่าหากยังมีความหวังเราจะสามารถผ่านเรื่องราวที่เลวร้ายไปได้ และผมดีใจที่ได้กลับมาร่วมงานกับค่าย Paramount อีกครั้ง”

ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ยังได้ Michael K. Williams, Mimi Rogers, Jessica Oyelowo และ Leonor Varela มาร่วมแสดงด้วย อำนวยการสร้างโดย Terry Botwick, Jerry Jameson, David Oyelowo และ Ken Wales รวมถึง Alex Garcia, Lucas Akoskin และ Katrina Wolfe จากค่าย BN นอกจากนี้ยังมี Santiago Garcia Galvan, Jonathan Gray,Elliott Lester, Ralph Winter และ Bird มาทำหน้าที่เป็นโปรดิวเซอร์ให้อีกด้วย

Captive จะเข้าฉายวันที่ 18 กันยายน 2015 ตามเวลาในอเมริกา นำแสดงโดย Kate Mara, David Oyelowo, Mimi Rogers, Michael K. Williams, Leonor Varela, E. Roger Mitchell, Michael Mercaldi และ Kevin J. O'Connor กำกับการแสดงโดย Jerry Jameson
