นับเป็นปีที่ภาพยนตร์จางช่องสตรีมมิ่งมาแรงที่สุดเลยก็ว่าได้ สำหรับเวทีงานประกาศรางวัล Critics' Choice Awards ครั้งที่ 26 ประจำปี 2021 ที่ล่าสุดได้เผยชื่อชนะแต่ละสาขามาแล้วเรียบร้อย โดยงานจัดขึ้นในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 7 มีนาคม 2021 (เวลาสหรัฐฯ) โดยมี เทย์ ดิ๊กส์ (Taye Diggs) เป็นผู้ดำเนินรายการที่เวทีงานในลอสแอนเจลิสร่วมกับผู้ประกาศรางวัลบางท่าน ส่วนผู้เข้าชิงทุกสาขาจะปรากฏตัวในจอจากทั่วทุกมุมโลก ตามมาตรการการป้องกันโคโรน่าไวรัส

Nomadland คว้ารางวัลใหญ่สาขาภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยม พร้อมด้วยผู้กำกับสาว โคลอี้ จ้าว (Chloe Zhao) เองก็ได้รางวัลผู้กำกับยอดเยี่ยม และบทภาพยนตร์ดัดแปลงยอดเยี่ยมกลับบ้านไปอีกครั้ง ด้าน แชดวิก โบสแมน (Chadwick Boseman) ก็สามารถคว้าชัยในสาขานักแสดงชายยอดเยี่ยมจาก Ma Rainey's Black Bottom พร้อม แครีย์ มัลลิแกน (Carey Mulligan) ผู้ชนะในสาขานักแสดงหญิงยอดเยี่ยมจาก Promising Young Woman ในส่วนของนักแสดงสมทบยอดเยี่ยมของฝ่ายชายนั้นได้แก่ แดเนียล คาลูย่า (Daniel Kaluuya) จาก Judas and the Black Messiah และ มาเรีย บากาโลวา (Maria Bakalova) จาก Borat Subsequent Moviefilm รางวัลภาพยนตร์ต่างประเทศยอดเยี่ยมเองก็ไม่พลิกโผ Minari สามารถคว้าชัยไปได้พร้อมกับ อลัน คิม (Alan Kim) สามารถคว้ารางวัลนักแสดงรุ่นเยาว์ยอดเยี่ยมไปอย่างปลื้มปิติยินดีอีกด้วย
